Introduction & Explanation

This project involved the installation of a modern fitted kitchen for a private residential client. The space required a complete kitchen fit-out, including base units, wall units, tall appliance housing, worktops, upstands, sink area and integrated appliances.

We installed a clean handleless kitchen layout with light neutral cabinetry to create a simple and modern design. The worktops were fitted with matching marble-effect upstands to give the kitchen a seamless finish without the need for traditional wall tiles.

The project also included fitting the sink and tap area, preparing the appliance spaces, completing finishing details around the walls and units, and installing herringbone-style flooring to complete the room.

Outcome & Insights

The finished kitchen has a bright, clean and contemporary appearance, with a much more open and polished feel than the original space.

The handleless units create a sleek modern look, while the pale worktops and matching upstands keep the design minimal and easy to maintain. The herringbone flooring adds warmth and contrast, stopping the room from feeling too plain while still keeping the overall finish professional and high-end.

This project shows how a well-planned kitchen installation can completely change the feel of a home, creating a practical everyday space that also adds strong visual appeal and long-term value to the property.
